Lupa adheres to the United Nations Global Compact

 

Lupa, a Spanish electric mobility company, which develops vehicles with bold design innovations, pioneering technologies and a unique business model that challenges traditional ownership to put customers first, has joined the United Nations Global Compact as part of its commitment to sustainability. The company is committed to aligning all its operations with the principles of the United Nations Global Compact, also contributing to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).

Launched in 2000, the United Nations Global Compact is the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative.

It is a solidarity initiative that seeks to transform the business sector in the world. Its objective is to promote a sustainable and responsible private sector, encouraging companies and organizations to align their strategies with Ten Universal Principles, which are related to human rights, the environment, the fight against corruption and labor, as well as to that act in a way that promotes the achievement of social objectives and the implementation of the SDGs.

In Spain, more than 1,590 organizations have joined the Spanish Global Compact Network, which makes it the Local Network with the largest number of adhered entities and, therefore, the most important in the world.

Lupa se adhiere al Pacto Mundial de las Naciones Unidas

 

Lupa, compañía española de movilidad eléctrica, que desarrolla vehículos con innovaciones audaces en diseño, tecnologías pioneras y un modelo de negocio único que desafía la propiedad tradicional para poner a los clientes primero, se ha sumado, a través de la red española, al Pacto Mundial de Naciones Unidas como parte de su compromiso con la sostenibilidad. La compañía se compromete a alinear todas sus operaciones con los principios del Pacto Mundial de las Naciones Unidas, contribuyendo, asimismo, a alcanzar los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS).

Lanzada en el año 2000, el Pacto Mundial de las Naciones Unidas es la mayor iniciativa de sostenibilidad corporativa del mundo.

Es una iniciativa solidaria que busca transformar el sector empresarial en el mundo. Su objetivo es potenciar un sector privado sostenible y responsable, animando a empresas y organizaciones a alinear sus estrategias con Diez Principios universales, los cuales están relacionados con los derechos humanos, el medio ambiente, la lucha contra la corrupción y el trabajo, así como para que actúen de forma que impulsen la consecución de los objetivos sociales y la implementación de los ODS.

En España, más de 1.590 organizaciones se han unido a la Red Española del Pacto Mundial, lo que la convierte en la Red Local con mayor número de entidades adheridas y, por lo tanto, la más importante del mundo.
